Skill Session: Campers will build skills in a safe, progressive, and monitored area. Some of the skills we will work on are general bike handling, braking, shifting, pedal position, body position, wheel lifts, short steep descents/ ascents and a whole lot more.
Trail Riding: Trail riding is an integral part to the bike camp. Trail riding will occur on the Whitefish Trail System and Beaver Lake Complex. These daily rides provide an opportunity to implement the skill sets learned in the morning and previous days. It also allows for trail etiquette lessons, map reading , and overall riding awareness (i.e.- making a plan, what to pack, hydration/nutrition, safety, etc.)
Other Activities: Mountain biking all day is a lot of work. Depending on the groups ability, weather and timing we may implement other activities throughout the day. Some of these actives may include: Swimming, StandUp Paddleboarding, Bike Maintenance, Wide Games, Arts and Crafts, and Environmental Stewardship.
What is included:
Transportation: Camp is constantly moving to utilize the entire trail system of the Whitefish Trail. We provide transportation from downtown Whitefish.
Lunch: No need to worry about packing lunch for your camper! We provide a fresh, healthy lunch and snack daily.
Professional Instructors: Our trained instructors are able to implement mountain bike growth through a nurturing and encouraging manner. We pride ourselves in everyone ‘riding away’ with a new set of skills and a big smile on their face.
Professional Supervision: Our ratio at camp is 6:1. All of our staff are CPR/First Aid Certified. The Lead Instructor is Aerie Wilderness First Responder and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified. You can rest assured your camper is safe under our supervision.

The Custom Kids package is an opportunity to extend the camp experience for a day or more. We are offering this for those that might want to keep riding with a few friends after the three days of camp or just want some extra time on trail with more attention from the coach. The custom groups campers will have a say in which section of trail they want to ride and not be restricted with the whole group needs. When signing up for a custom group please keep in mind the price is a flat rate, whether you have 1, 2 or 4 kids.
**There is no teen camp this year...but if your child has few friends to ride with this is a great way to keep their passion going and growing.
****Please note that all kids in custom group will be riding together with one coach. It is your responsibility to make sure they are at comparable riding ability.
Only one registration is required for the custom group. Please do not register each camper that will be attending.
